T-Bank’s Chief Analyst Joins Wealth IQ

Wealth IQ is pleased to welcome Kirill Komarov, one of the most respected analysts in the Russian investment market, as Head of Analytics. Kirill will focus on expanding the firm’s research capabilities, shaping investment strategies, and contributing to Wealth IQ’s thought leadership platforms, including its Telegram channel.

Kirill brings over a decade of experience in investment research. Before joining Wealth IQ, he spent more than seven years as Head of Analytics at Tinkoff Investments, Russia’s largest retail investment platform. There, he built a 15-person research team, launched a new format of investment reviews tailored for a broad audience, and combined the roles of strategist, portfolio manager, and media commentator. Under his leadership, T-Bank’s flagship strategy outperformed its benchmark by more than 20% for two consecutive years. In 2024, he was named a finalist for Best Analyst in Russia by SPIMEX and the Association of Financial Analysts with EMCR support. He is also a CFA charterholder.

“What inspired me about Wealth IQ is the way the team rethinks wealth management — deeply, without being tied to banks or rigid frameworks,” says Kirill Komarov. “Here, client interests always come first, and even the most complex challenges can be solved. It’s a place where a long-term, meaningful approach to wealth can truly be developed — one built on trust and expertise.”

Wealth IQ is an independent next-generation investment firm that has grown to serve over 500 clients with assets of $1 million and above in just two and a half years. Its team is made up of seasoned professionals from top private banks and global investment firms, including investment advisors, tax and legal specialists, and experts in asset structuring. Beyond serving private investors and family offices, Wealth IQ also develops Clussters, a digital platform for capital tracking and analysis, and publishes one of the leading niche Telegram channels on wealth management.

“Kirill’s arrival is another step toward making our research not only deep, but also practical,” adds Veronika Zhukova, Executive Director of Wealth IQ. “By clearly explaining the thinking behind every recommendation, we help clients feel in control of their wealth and make more confident decisions.”

According to Frank RG, independent firms are becoming a vital part of the wealth management ecosystem, offering flexibility, expertise, and a truly holistic perspective. Wealth IQ is building such an ecosystem around its clients, partnering with more than 80 institutions across 15 jurisdictions, including banks, brokers, and structuring providers.
