The conference, supported by Forbes Russia, brought together representatives from banks, investment firms, major corporations, and private investors. Veronika Zhukova shared insights on the preference for private banking services, deliberating whether it is more advantageous in Russia or abroad.
According to Veronika, "If a portion of a Russian citizen’s life interests extends beyond the country’s borders, it is crucial to establish an external perimeter of interests and support it with corresponding infrastructure. Recent clarifications from the Central Bank now permit Russians to do so. By keeping a portion of capital abroad, it becomes easier to diversify one’s portfolio."
